Dr Roelof Botha – His topic for the evening: “The South African economy amidst global turmoil – will the silver linings remain intact?”
The war in the Middle East has disrupted oil supplies, leading to concerns over higher inflation. Capital markets have also not escaped the turmoil of heightened geo-political uncertainty.

Dr Roelof Botha will shed some light on whether South Africa’s growth prospects will be materially influenced by these developments.
He is the Economic Advisor to the Optimum Investment Group, with five decades of experience, including a quarter of a century as a faculty member at GIBS and a stint as a policy advisor at the National Treasury.
